We had a great time over Memorial Weekend!
Saturday I threw a Baby Shower in Bountiful for my sweet friend Kelsey. She is several weeks away from welcoming a Baby Boy! I am so excited to meet him, but I don't think anyone is as excited as she is!! The theme was "Little Man" with Bow Ties and Mustaches. I was happy with how everything turned out!
After the shower was over, we headed further south to Payson for the Temple Open House. We met Jordan and Karlee there and waited in a very LONG line. Zella was getting pretty impatient, but as soon as we got in the Temple she was such a good girl, and kept looking up and pointing at the twinkling chandeliers. There is just something really special about being in the Temple with my little family! We were glad Jordan and Karlee got to go with us. Zella has the best time with them. She was very interested in holding our hands and walking around. I captured the cutest picture of Jordan and Jon helping her walk:)
Since we were already down south we decided to stop in and visit my Uncle Jeff and his wife and daughter Raynee. She is just a year older than Zella. They have such a fun time together I wish they lived closer! They had just moved into a new house that day, so we brought pizza for dinner.
Sunday we had Jon's Dad, Brothers, and Grandma over for a little BBQ. Jon's Mom had just left the day before to go help his sister in Washington who was due to deliver a new Nephew any day! It happened to be while we were enjoying dinner we got the news he had arrived. He was a big boy weighing in at 9lbs 10oz. They decided on the name Graham and we just can't wait to meet the little guy!!! Here is a picture she shared with us, showing off his sweet cheeks:)
Then of course Monday we went to visit the graves of our loved ones. I thought it would be nice to drive out to my Grandpa's Grandmothers grave. That is our Zella's namesake, so we took some silk sunflowers and a pinwheel for her. I am so grateful for those who have fought for our freedoms. We are blessed to live in a free land. Thank you to all who continue to protect our country!
