Curtis FHE || Part 2

We did it!! Another month of FHE each week:)

Our system is really working for us. I am seeing the benefits, and I love getting to spend quality time as a little family each week, especially with Jon being so busy with work and school!

So here is a few more fun ideas for easy little family nights with a baby in toe.

Our Lesson was on The Family.
We sang the Family is of God.
I made little popsicle sticks for each of us in the family.
We read from the Proclamation to the World.
For our Activity we went a shared our Treat with Great Gma Curtis
I had Girl Scout Cookies on hand so I made this yummy treat!

The Lesson was on Prophets.
We sang Follow the Prophet.
Zella had a laminated picture of Prophet Monson to hold.
Dad taught about why we have a Prophet and what his role is.
We blew bubbles, but then had to go inside for a popsicle.
It started getting cold!

The Lesson was on Easter.
We sang He Sent His Son.
I made an Empty Tomb for Zella to open and close.
We read the story of Easter from the Scriptures.
Then we had a little Easter Egg Hunt for Zella inside because she still crawls.
She was happy with just finding one egg, we had to really convince her to keep looking.
Then we made Empty Tomb Rolls.

The Lesson was on Service.
We sang Love One Another.
Dad read about Service here and here.
We read a book Zella got from her Great Grandma for Easter about Kindness.
Then we each did a small Act of Kindness.
Zella gave diapers to a new baby in the neighborhood.
Mini gave some old towels to the Vet.
Mom took a recipe with all the ingredients to someone in need.
And Dad had us all go welcome our new neighbors and took them some home essentials.
Then we had some leftover B-Day Cake.

Last months ideas are here.

Wish us luck we will be able to keep this going!!!
