Last Fall our Library sold some of their older used books to make room for new ones, so just glancing over them, I bought a few. One was about what we wear during the summer. It starts out saying, "We take off our Pajamas, and put on..." and proceeds to name summer appropriate clothing like tank tops, shorts, sandals, etc.
Well the very last page looked a little something like this...
When reading it to Zella for the first time, Jon and I got to the last page and couldn't keep a straight face! We both busted out laughing!!! I told Jon, "Zella is going to think clothes are optional in the summer!"
Well after yesterday she just might...
This maybe a little TMI.. But she has been having some terrible loose poops that have been burning her poor little bottom. So being a desperate mom I decided to let her run wild outside to try and let the area get some air. I even turned a sprinkler on low for her to play with. She had a grand ol' time! Then my mind turned back to that book... Oh how true it was...
Now I've got her on the BRAT diet to try and get rid of these poops, and have been using a bag balm like diaper cream between changes... It seems to be getting better.
So I guess like the books says... "We are ready for Summer!"
