These are a few of your Favorite Things...

Jan 23, 2016

               Dear Miss Zella,

You are 20 months and every day spent with you is so much fun! You are learning new things all the time. I love hearing you talk, especially when you say, "I love you." You love to sing and read books. You are learning your colors and animals. You can make the sounds for a kitty, puppy, cow, lamb, frog, crocodile, monkey, snake, and elephant. You love your "blankie" and your "Ah Ah" and sleep with them every night. You are a very good sleeper. You go to bed at eight and sleep till almost nine the next morning. You also still take a two hour nap in the afternoon.

You are very smart and have learned to use sign language. You can sign the colors red, orange, blue, and white. You also sign shoes, football, all done, more please, thank you, cheese, cereal, and rainbow. We can ask you where your nose, eyes, ears, hair, mouth, shoulders, belly, feet, and toes are and you will show us. I am not sure where you get it, but you have learned to scowl at us. It has become a face I see many times a day! You are just full of attitude and lots of personality. You got a dolly for your first birthday and it is one of your favorite toys. You like to rock, pat, and feed her bottles. You take such good care of her. You are so loving and it shows when you spoil everyone with the best hugs and kisses.

How we got so blessed with you I will never know. We love you so much!

                                   Love,
                                               Your Mama.

A New Year

With a New Year comes new adventures...

We started out 2016 by sharing a personal trial in our lives in the hope it will help others. Our story was published on the blog "Toss the Taboo" You can read it here

We have been overwhelmed by the positive response we have received. Many have reached out to us... one of them being someone from LDS Media. They asked us to be apart of the Mormon Channel's Talk Radio.

So today Jon and I traveled south to the LDS Conference Center in SLC to record our part. We met Jennifer Stagg, the host of Mormon Channel Talk. After a couple of sound checks we were on our way... She was the sweetest person, and although we obviously couldn't say it all in such a short time, we were able to share a message of hope that we are excited for others to hear.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our testimony with so many! Our segment will air Feb 12th- and will be posted to listen to anytime after that. We will keep you updated for your chance to listen.

Thanks for the love and support!
